◆ Your inspection report

Every finding is graded so you know what to do first.

After the inspection you receive a written summary that sorts findings into three clear categories, with recommended actions and an estimate for any remedial work.

Grade A

Satisfactory

Parts of the installation that tested correctly and need no action now, with notes on anything to monitor over time.

Grade B

Improvement recommended

Items that are not immediately dangerous but fall short of good practice and should be planned into upcoming work.

Grade C

Urgent attention

Defects that present a real risk of shock or fire. We explain them on the spot and, where possible, make them safe immediately.

◆ Inspection FAQ

About the inspection visit.

A typical apartment takes a few hours; larger homes and commercial premises take longer. Circuits need to be switched off briefly during testing, so we agree the timing with you in advance.

Individual circuits are switched off for short periods while they are tested. We tell you beforehand so you can save work on computers and plan around refrigeration.

No. The report is yours to keep and act on as you choose. If you would like us to carry out the recommended work, we will provide a separate quote.

As a general guide, homes benefit from an inspection every five years or so, rental properties between tenancies, and commercial premises more frequently depending on use. Your report will suggest a sensible interval.
