How Elite Wire Tech collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website and electrical services.

On this page

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Elite Wire Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit elitewiretech.com, contact us, request a quote or use our electrical services. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to you and deliver our services:

Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and service address.
Service information — descriptions of electrical problems, photos you send, property type, access notes and preferred appointment times.
Transaction records — quotes, invoices, payment confirmations and warranty records.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring pages, collected automatically through cookies and server logs.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

respond to enquiries and service requests;
schedule visits, prepare quotes and carry out electrical work;
issue invoices, receipts, test summaries and warranty documents;
contact you about your job, follow-ups or safety recommendations;
improve our website, services and customer experience;
meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal information where it is necessary to perform a service you have requested, where we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business, where we must comply with a legal obligation, or where you have given consent — for example, to receive occasional safety tips by email. You may withdraw consent at any time.

6. Data retention

We keep service records, invoices and test summaries for as long as needed to honour warranties, answer questions about past work and meet legal and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted or anonymised after a reasonable period. Website analytics data is retained in aggregated form.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to customer records, secure passwords and reputable hosting and form providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our safeguards regularly.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide a copy;
correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
delete information we no longer need;
restrict or object to certain processing;
stop sending marketing communications.

To make a request, email service@elitewiretech.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences and understand how visitors use our pages. Please read our Cookie Policy for details and choices.

10. Third-party links

Our website may link to external sites such as map services or manufacturers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to read their policies.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults responsible for a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
